MATHEW BAINBRIDGE: Director, Writer,

After graduating with a BFA from Northern Michigan University in 1995, Mathew Bainbridge moved to Baltimore, MD where he currently teaches film at Towson University. Mathew has worked in the motion picture and television industry for twenty years. His resume includes major motion pictures such as Liberty Heights, Cecil B. Demented and Head of State as well as the television dramas The Wire and Homicide. Mathew has also worked on over one hundred television commercials including the infamous Bob Dole Viagra spot. In 2004, Mathew wrote and directed Partita, an experimental fifty-two minute drama that played theatrically in New York and Los Angeles.


Lindsay Mercer brings to the table six years of film and television experience as a Producer, Coordinator and Accountant. She’s worked in the Accounting Departments of the $65 million Warner Brothers feature film The Invasion, the ten-hour ESPN miniseries The Bronx is Burning and ABC and HBO television pilots. She’s served as a Production Coordinator on numerous television productions as well as the 2009 Kennedy Center Honors.


Alex Hedstrom was an Associate Producer of the controversial 2003 documentary feature Taken As Directed, which gained attention and praise for its strident consumer advocacy and harsh criticism of government policy. Alex is an active musician, writing and recording music with the band A Study in Her. Alex also spent four years as a public school teacher in Baltimore County, MD, focusing on video production and editing.


Paul Weiss has worked on a variety of film projects since graduating with a BFA in Film, Video and Animation from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is the co-writer and producer of the series Dollar Theater.

Director of Photography

William J. Gray picked up his first camera in 1968. His motion and still work is heavily influenced from his time growing up in England, Germany, Greece and Taiwan. After graduating University of Maryland in 1983 he went on to work in the freelance film production world of commercials, documentaries, TV  and feature films. With close to three decades in the camera department he has learned from some of the best cameramen and directors in the world.


Amy Gordon is a composer, arranger, songwriter, and vocalist in Los Angeles, CA. She is the composer-in-residence for Nova Vocal Ensemble and has had multiple commissions and premieres with Nova, including What Child Is This, The Skye Boat Song, and In Memoriam.
In addition to composing classical and choral music, she is also an active media composer and singer-songwriter. She composes for films and web broadcasts. Her song “One Door Opens” was named a finalist in the International SongDoor Songwriting competition.


Kamau Collins is a Graphic Designer living and working in Baltimore. He has has worked on a variety of design projects in film, print and digital since graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design from Maryland Institute College of Arts (MICA).
